“It’s not that I’m so smart,
it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
Albert Einstein
When I launched my podcast, I knew it would take effort, but what I didn’t know was just how many people quit before they even get going.
Turns out, most folks give up 5 minutes before the miracle!
Nearly half of all podcasts don’t make it past episode 3. Over 70% never make it beyond episode 10. And here’s the kicker—90% of podcasters quit before hitting 20 episodes. That means if you make it to episode 21, you’re in the top 1% of podcasts worldwide. And guess what? I’m currently editing episode 17. Whoohooo!
Reaching this milestone isn’t just about numbers—it’s about what persistence creates:
Growth through momentum – Each episode is another chance to sharpen my skills and refine my voice.
Trust with listeners – Consistency builds connection. Showing up again and again tells my audience they can count on me.
Standing out in the crowd – In a world where most podcasts “podfade,” simply continuing makes a powerful statement.
It’s easy to get discouraged when progress feels slow, but the truth is: most people stop before the magic happens.
Whether you’re podcasting, painting, writing, or starting something new—showing up, again and again, is the secret ingredient to success.
So here’s to perseverance. Here’s to moving past the point where most people stop. And here’s to heading toward that 1% milestone together.
Thank you for being part of my creative journey. Your support makes every episode, every painting, every word, every piece of music worth creating.
I wish you an inspired month ahead!
