Today we are going to talk about apps that help you showcase your artwork in virtual room settings. Some folks have trouble visualizing your art in their space, and these apps really help people see the possibilities.
There are a lot of apps out there but I chose these two FREE apps that work on a desktop on any platform:
WallApps https://www.ohmyprints.com/ and
Photofunia https://photofunia.com/
WallApps (aka ohmyprints) will showcase your artwork in a number of contemporary home settings. I played around with a number of rooms and found the one that was best suited for the art I wanted to showcase. Once you’ve made your selection you can download and use it as you please. It was simple to use and I found the color to be true.
Photofunia is a bit edgy but very cool. And Photofunia, as the name suggests will really let you play with your images in fun, non-traditional settings.
For my purposes, I chose the museum views. While I loved some of the shots. I didn’t like that it toned down my vibrant color. I guess I could alter it later in photoshop but I have to admit am looking for instant results.
What I love about both of them is not only do you get an idea of how your work would look in a room setting. You also get an idea of how your work would scale. And that’s valuable feedback for future work.
