Are ya still in love?
Are you still excited to go to the studio every day, or are you just not feeling it?
I don’t know about you but every once in a while I need an artist date.
I’m a total introvert and usually prefer to paint by myself, but I love to attend group outings and workshops as they ignite my creativity.
Today we are going to explore the benefits of taking a class, attending a plein-air group outing, or attending a group “paint out.”
First, there’s the communal aspect. I get so inspired by other artists. I can always find something that they do that I love love love, and can’t wait to get home and play with it.
Second, I Iearn new skills: I don’t care how long I’ve been painting. There’s always something to learn. Always!
Finally, getting together and creating with like-minded creative folks is such stress buster!
So shake it up! Take a class in a different medium that you’ve always wanted to try.
