It’s easy to paint when you are inspired.
OK, it may not be easy to paint but it’s easy to approach the easel.
But what about when you are sad, angry, frustrated, grieving, or whatever…
That’s when I do a throw up painting.
Yep, you heard me. A throw-up painting!
Just paint the emotion you are feeling.
Don’t try to make it look like anything. Just put the paint down and get it out of your system.
If you like the end result, you can keep it. If you don’t, you’ll have something interesting to paint over, and you will have released that unwanted emotion from your body.
Here’s one that has a promising start, even though I was feeling puny.
And here’s one that I’ll most likely paint over~ or not…
Either way, I got the negative energy out of my system and Now I can move on to a more productive day.
So give it a shot. You’ll be glad you did.
