Switch it Up!

Every once in awhile I like to switch things up a bit paint with oils on paper.

The paper absorbs the oil, and dries to the touch much more quickly than it does on canvas or primed wood.

Consequently, you can make adjustments a lot sooner than with traditional surfaces without it getting muddy.
I named her “Au Courant” because she knows stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

I was going to submit the work for Chris Sorensen’s Nudes in November show but  she was not running on Shannon time.

This is a really tiny piece only 5″ x 7″ but she reads large.
