My Heritage.com Deep Nostalgia’s AI technology was meant to animate ancestral portraits. And they do. The animation is cool and strange all at the same time. I find the application worked best when I used it with photos of distant ancestors as opposed to the recently departed. And the photos worked beth when they did not have teeth showing in their smile.
I just had to see what it would do with my portrait paintings. I did not use it on any commissions. I didn’t want to freak out my patrons. But I did try it on work that I did “just because” and I found it to be really cool. Here’s a playlist for your enjoyment:
